ABOUT
Anyway, hi. I’m Sia.
There’s probably no particularly neat way to introduce yourself on a page like this, so I won’t try too hard. I’m Sia, and this is one of the many things I’ve somehow ended up putting a lot of myself into.
I’ve never felt the need to have everything mapped out. I like it better this way — following the things that interest me, taking an idea as far as I want to, and seeing where it leads me. I think not knowing exactly where something will go is half the fun of starting it.
My story
Animals have always been around in some way, but paying attention to the ones most people walked past changed things for me.
An injured animal on the side of the road. One that needed feeding. Another that needed a home. At some point, helping stopped being something occasional and rescuing became a real part of my life.
And with that came all the things you don’t really think about until they start piling up — vaccination details, prescriptions, medical reports, adoption papers, old records. Important things, somehow living everywhere from WhatsApp chats and phone galleries to folders and drawers.
A vaccination card here. A prescription there. 400 photos of the same cat. And somehow, that became NYNE.
Beginnings
The idea itself was pretty simple: what if all of it could just live in one place?
Not another folder. Not another photo buried somewhere in your gallery. Just one place where the things that matter are there when you need them.
There had to be a better way to carry a whole life without actually carrying it.
That became the starting point for NYNE — making something that felt simple enough to actually use, for something that had somehow become unnecessarily complicated.
The two who had a little something to do with NYNE.
Meet Leo and Kiwi — two cats with completely different personalities and absolutely no understanding of personal space.
A lot of my life somehow revolves around them. My camera roll definitely does. Between taking care of them, keeping track of everything that comes with having them, and the general chaos of living with them, they ended up having a little something to do with NYNE too.
The Problem
The problem isn’t really the paperwork. It’s needing something important and having no idea where you last put it.
A vaccination date before an appointment. An old report your vet wants to see. A prescription from months ago. None of it feels difficult to keep track of — until suddenly, it is.
Your pet has an entire history. Keeping up with it shouldn’t be the complicated part.
The Pet Locker
That’s where the Pet Locker comes in.
One place for your pet’s important records — vaccination cards, prescriptions, medical reports, adoption papers and everything else worth keeping.
Upload it. Organise it. Find it when you need it.
No searching, no digging, no trying to remember where you put something months ago.
Because caring for your pet is already enough work. Finding their paperwork shouldn’t be.
What NYNE believes
Every animal counts.
Not because they have a home, a breed, a pedigree or a person who chose them. Their life matters either way.
There’s always more we can do.
Whether it’s making something a little easier, helping where we can, or simply paying more attention — small things add up.
Do something with the love.
Loving animals is easy. Showing up for them, speaking up for them and doing something with that love is where it really matters.
The Bigger Picture
The Pet Locker is where NYNE starts, but it was never meant to be the whole idea.
There’s a lot more I’d like to build around it — things that make caring for animals easier, help more of them find homes, and make it simpler for people to help when they can.
I have a lot of ideas for where NYNE could go from here. I just don’t think every part of it needs to be mapped out yet — I’d rather let it grow where it makes sense.
The locker is just the first piece.
Your pet. Their paperwork. Your sanity. Pick two.
